Regulatory data transfers and data transfer outside the EU or the European Economic Area

Kiinteistövirkut Oy does not forward information to third parties, except in the following situations:

Personal data can be disclosed to the authorities within the limits permitted and required by the applicable legislation.

Data can be transferred outside the European Union and the European Economic Area if the technical implementation of the service requested by the user requires it or if it is necessary according to Section 23, parts 2-5 of the Personal Data Act. Collaborators outside the EU are required to comply with EU data protection practices.

The registered person’s personal data will not be stored longer than is necessary for their purpose of use or when required by contract or law. However, the retention periods of personal data may vary depending on the purpose of use and the situation.

The register is not kept as a manual paper version.

Information processed by automatic data processing

The personal information contained in the register is kept confidential.
The register is used only by persons whose job description includes their use. Each user has a personal username and password. All users are bound by a duty of confidentiality. The register’s access rights are granted and monitored by the person managing the register’s affairs.
The network and equipment on which the register is located are protected by a firewall and other appropriate technical measures.

Rights of the registrant

Right to object

The registered person has the right to object to the profiling directed at him/her, citing a special situation, which Kiinteistövirkut Oy applies to the personal data of the registered person. In connection with the request, the registered person must identify the reason on which she/he objects to the processing. Kiinteistövirkut Oy can refuse to implement a request for objection based on the grounds set out in the law.

The right to check the register data

In accordance with the Personal Data Act, the registered person has the right to check what information about her/him is stored in the personal register. The inspection request must be sent in writing to the person in charge of registry matters mentioned in this registration statement, either by e-mail or by post.

The right to demand correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of data to another system

The registered person has the right to have incorrect, incomplete, outdated or unnecessary information that we store corrected by Kiinteistövirkut Oy.
The registered person can ask Kiinteistövirkut Oy to delete their personal data. Kiinteistövirkut Oy will carry out the measures according to your request, if Kiinteistövirkut Oy has no reason not to delete the information. The registered person has the right to demand the restriction of the processing of personal data even if the information concerning the registered person is incorrect. The registered person has the right to receive her/his personal data from Kiinteistövirkut Oy in a structured and commonly used format and the right to independently transfer the data to a third party.

Exercising the rights

If the data subject wants to exercise one of the above rights, please send the following information to Kiinteistövirkut Oy by mail or email: name, address, telephone number and what section Kiinteistövirkut needs to change. Kiinteistövirkut Oy has the right to reject requests that are repeated unreasonably often, are excessive or are clearly unfounded.

Each data subject has the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority, especially in the county where he or she has his or her permanent residence or place of employment, or where the alleged violation occurred. If the data subject considers that the processing of personal data concerning her/his violates the data protection regulation, without prejudice to other administrative means of appeal or legal remedies.
